Here we go! More tired this afternoon, yet the steroids are fighting with a swell of ideas already. As I'm stage 4, and in a maintenance plan, chemo is the main way to preserve my life. Stage 4 confirmation was hard to take, yet it didn't really change the care I have been getting. If I caught this sooner, this could be a very different situation. So if anyone is having issues swallowing, or issues with acid reflux, please see a doc! There are more lifestyle choices that can lead to this, if you are here, at least read about causes/prevention from a reputable source. Mayo Clinic has been great! There continues to be a lot of misinformation out there. Don't get me started on horse meds!

Late March,  is when eating really became difficult. So the fact I'm good with most foods is fine in my book! The tx week has been wonky on how to navigate, yet with help and advice from NYOH, things have been managing...I still have some super sleepy days, yet drinking water, movement, compassionate listening to my body seems to help. I haven't taken anti-nausea meds since the first week, yet they are there if needed. I think just being able to eat normally was a big gain.

I am on my way to meet with a nutritionist in the area too. Excited on guidance.
